Lead Front End engineer

A leading global hi-tech company that develops a virtual and computerized platform for the management of innovation in organizations is looking for a Lead Front End engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the initial front-end infrastructure and architecture. (5+ years)
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate with NestJS, MongoDB, and GraphQL. (3-5 years)
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application. (4-6 years, with focus on performance tuning for SPAs)
• Develop and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries. (4+ years)
• Write comprehensive technical designs and break down work into manageable chunks for accurate estimation. (5+ years, including experience writing technical documentation and project planning)
• Break down functionality into UI components for modular and maintainable code. (4-5 years, building modular UI components)
• Perform unit testing using recommended tools such as Jest and React Testing Library. (3-4 years, with frontend testing tools)
• Mentor and guide developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. (2-3 years in mentorship or lead role)

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Front End Developer or similar role. (2+ years in lead position; 5-7 years total in front-end development).
• Extensive experience with ReactJS and building SPAs from scratch. (5+ years with ReacJS)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/typescript, HTML5, and CSS3. (5+ years)
• Experience with performance optimization in SPA environments. (4+ years)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. (5+ years)
• Ability to write comprehensive technical plans and designs, breaking complex tasks and estimations. (3+ years)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with unit testing and testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Familiarity with modern front-end building pipelines and tools.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
