Software Architect

A leading technology company specializing in counter-drone solutions is seeking a Software Architect to join its R&D team. This team focuses on developing cyber-based counter-drone products designed to protect urban environments. The Software Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing complex features while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering specifications and architectural approaches.
• Provide architectural oversight and technical guidelines to engineering teams.
• Lead and contribute to the design and high-level architecture of large or complex features.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to drive the technical backlog and brainstorm ideas for new features and capabilities.
• Address complex challenges involving high-scale data processing, algorithmic solutions, and customer-driven enhancements.
• Define high-level architecture for new product lines and adapt current architecture to meet evolving requirements.
• Specify APIs and coordinate responsibilities across teams to ensure seamless integration.
  
  

• Experience: Over 7 years in R&D roles, with at least 2 years in a development architecture or tech lead position.
• Technical Skills: Strong design and development experience, particularly in embedded systems. Proficiency in relevant technologies such as C++, Python, SDR, DSP, microservices, and end-to-end systems.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle complex problems and work independently.
• System Thinking: Ability to maintain and communicate a big-picture view of system architecture.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with both product and engineering teams.
• Agility: Capability to balance design principles with an agile mindset to adapt to dynamic requirements.
