Electronics Testing and Manufacturing Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Testing and Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role involves performing root cause analysis on electronic board manufacturing issues and developing and maintaining automated test stations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with electronic boards and a solid understanding of testing and troubleshooting processes. Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) systems is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Root Cause Analysis:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to electronic boards.
• Conduct detailed analysis to identify defects and root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to implement corrective measures.
• Test Station Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing stations for electronic boards.
• Ensure that test stations are efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with engineers to create and update test procedures for new and existing products.
• Maintenance & Calibration:
• Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test stations.
• Ensure testing equipment operates at peak performance to minimize downtime.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously assess testing and production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Propose and implement upgrades to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Document findings from root cause analysis and test station modifications.
• Generate detailed reports on test results and corrective actions for management and stakeholders.
• Production Support and Training:
• Provide support and training to production line technicians in testing, assembly, and repair of company products.
• Technical Drawing:
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
• Use technical drawings to guide troubleshooting, testing, and assembly processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Mandatory: 2-4 years of hands-on experience working with electronic boards, including troubleshooting, testing, and repair.
• Advantage: Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) systems and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated test equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Basic programming or scripting experience for automating test stations (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) is a plus.
