Senior Bookkeeper – Priority a Must

We are a boutique firm that provides clients with hands-on, attentive services customized for the fund’s back-office needs.

Join our team as a key member of the finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial bookkeeping, with extensive experience working with Priority software. Experience in a CPA office or other financial services provider firm is essential. The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, overseeing a small team, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role requires a keen understanding of financial statements, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a small financial team.

Qualifications:

·      Proven experience as a bookkeeper or senior bookkeeper, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a CPA office or financial services provider firm.

·      Strong proficiency in Priority accounting software.

·      In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping practices.

·      Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliation.

·      Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

·      Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.

·      Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

·      Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·      Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.

·      A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
