Innovation Project Manager, Egged Group (JB-465) – FULL TIME

POSITION LOCATION:

• Beit Dagan, hybrid: 1 day a week remote, and travel as required.

JOB SUMMARY:

·  We are seeking a Project Manager to lead innovation activities such as field pilots with external vendors (including startup companies), internal ideation and solution creation, and partnerships in the transportation ecosystem.

·      

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Execution

1. Hands-on manage pilot projects, including initiation, scoping, planning, execution, and measurement to meet project goals.

2. Develop detailed project plans, requirements, RACI models, timelines, budgets, metrics and deliverables.

3. Closely escort implementation, including fieldwork at bus depots, garages, and on the road, while interacting with mechanics and drivers.

4. Ensure efficient evaluation process, proactively resolving challenges, to meet timelines and deliver successful outcomes.

5. Monitor and methodologically report progress, KPIs, ROI, and lessons learned, to drive decisions on fit to needs, adoption and scaling.

Stakeholder Engagement

6. Onboard and collaborate with team members across business units to encourage engagement and track progress.

7. Maintain strong relationships with internal business owners, IT managers, and operational excellence teams.

8. Support partnerships with startups, communities, academia, and government, through communications, events, RFI/RFPs.

Innovation Culture

9. Lead internal activities designed to foster innovation across the group.

10.        Assist in scouting and analysis of potential solutions (technologies, products, services and models).

REQUIREMENTS:

·     3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in innovation and/or transportation.

·     Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

·     Experience in or with operating companies or traditional service sectors (low-tech industries).

·     Strong leadership skills and ability to drive collaboration with multicultural stakeholders.

·     Hands-on approach with readiness to engage directly in field operations.

·     Independent, proactive problem-solving mindset.

·     Willingness to travel as required (mainly domestic, potentially abroad).

·     Proficient in Hebrew and English (fluent/native).

BONUS:

·     Technical knowhow

·     Familiarity with transportation systems, challenges and technologies, e.g. EV, autonomous, predictive maintenance.

·     Experience working with startups

·     Experience working in an enterprise environment

·     BSc/BA degree

·     Certification in project management

·     Proficiency in project management tools

COMPENSATION:

A salary of 18-21k NIS (based on experience and skills), along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a Study Fund (on 100%) and exclusive Egged employee perks.
