Vice President of Products

VP Product – B2C Startup

We are looking for an exceptional VP of Product to lead the product strategy, design, and execution for our fast-growing B2C startup.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a passion for great design, an ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, and a proven track record of building world-class products.

About the Role As the VP of Product, you will own the product vision and strategy, drive end-to-end product development, and play a key role in shaping the user experience. You will report directly to the CEO, work closely with cross-functional teams, and manage a growing team of Product Managers (PMs) to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy, aligned with company goals.
• Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to identify product opportunities.
• Prioritize features, define roadmaps, and ensure timely execution.

Hands-On Product Development

• Take an active, hands-on role in product design and development.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to create best-in-class products.
• Lead the design process, ensuring a focus on exceptional UX/UI.

Team Leadership & Management

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of Product Managers (PMs) with a strong focus on growth and development.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and success metrics for team members.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work directly with the CEO to align on strategic goals and priorities.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure a seamless product experience.
• Act as the voice of the customer, driving user-first decisions across the organization.

Design Excellence

• Champion a design-driven culture within the organization.
• Ensure the highest standards of UX and UI are met across all products.
• Partner with design teams to create beautiful, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in senior product leadership roles, preferably in a B2C startup environment.
• Proven experience in hands-on product development and design leadership.
• Strong track record of hiring, managing, and developing high-performing product teams.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and a passion for design excellence.
• Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
