System Verification Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support and execute system testing of full Commtact RF solutions (RF ,DSP ,HW), in the lab and over the air.
• Create test strategy and design testing scenarios and test cases
• Code automate tests in Python
• Performing functional and non-functional test cases for new software versions
• Write and maintain System Test Specifications and document results from testing
• Defect reporting and verification in Jira
• Hands on manual testing as well as automation testing.
• Working with multiple interfaces (System engineering, SW, HW, Digital) to get requirements for scenarios development

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in telecoms/electronics/computer science
• At least 3 years of experience in system verification tests
• Knowledge of traffic generator XENA,XIA, IPERF
• Good understanding of network fundamentals: IP addressing, routing, VLAN…
• Understanding of RF: power, attenuation, vswr, antennas, propagation …
• Experience with embedded Linux systems, not afraid of the shell
• Proven experience of a scripting language, Python preferred
• Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging STP/STD/STR
• Experience with Jira software for ticket managing
• Excellent communicator - ability to explain complex content in a simple and concise way
• Self-fast-learner, responsible, great communication skills, team player, and details-driven character
