Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a passion for technology and the ability to make a real business impact. Fast-moving Data Engineer with the ability to break down complex problems, who has a strong work ethic.

You will shape and build our data platform from the ground up, develop and maintain our data warehouse and reports, and provide support to analysts, data scientists and business units.

What you'll do:

• Design, implement and maintain data pipelines & ETLs on top of Snowflake with DBT using multiple data sources; marketing spend, MongoDB, CRM (Salesforce), BI events (Segment), and various APIs
• Taking care of Data Warehouse modeling and Data Lake administration activities, such as cost tracking, performance enhancements, and health checks.
• Continuously improve data quality by implementing observability and validation tools
• Collaborate with various departments to understand product goals and data requirements, including Ops, Engineering, Product Managers, Analysts, and coworkers
• Own the entire process of defining business requirements into data entities ready for BI/Data scientists to use
• Using Python and SQL, integrate new data sources and manipulate the data
  
  

• A Data Engineer with 3+ years experience in roles which some experience as a senior
• BA/B.Sc. graduate in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, statistics, or equivalent
• Data developer working on an end to end pipeline from requirements to outputs
• Proven capabilities of ETL architecture principles and able to lead the design of ETL processes
• Highly skilled with SQL, DBT experienced with MPP columnar databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Bigquery, etc
• Hands-on experience with a programming language (Python, Java, Scala, Ruby, etc.)
