Senior Data Scientist

STARTICA is looking for a Senior Data Scientist !

A challenging role in a newly forming group with plenty of room for growth. As part of the Data and Business Analytics Group, under the company's technology division, this position reports to the Data Science Team Leader. It is a cross-functional role that touches on various aspects of the company's activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management / Economics / Statistics / Computer Science / Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience and proven knowledge in complex SQL queries against large databases.
• Experience with Python and familiarity with basic libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, sklearn, seaborn, matplotlib.
• Familiarity with models like Boosting, Random Forest, GLM, Regression, Clustering, PCA, SVM.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience in developing Supervised & Unsupervised statistical models.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud – a significant advantage.
• High analytical and technical capabilities - mandatory.
• High proficiency in English - reading and writing.
