Analytical Lab Manager – QC Manager

Responsibilities: As the Analytical Lab Manager – QC Manager, you will play a crucial role in our quality control department. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating and overseeing a range of analytical equipment, including ICP, DLS, TGA/DSC, FTIR, TIC, and XRD.
2. Ensuring the proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of all analytical instruments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
3. Developing and implementing analytical methods for the comprehensive analysis of inorganic/organic materials and medical products, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
4. Providing expert guidance and training to lab associates to enhance their technical skills and efficiency.
5. Acting as the focal point for lab equipment calibration processes, ensuring compliance with calibration schedules and procedures.
6. Leading the Test Method Validation (TMV) process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strategize, write, review, and approve TMV protocols, and overseeing the execution and reporting.
7. Creating, reviewing, and approving lab testing procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
8. Generating, reviewing, and approving Lab Test Requests to ensure efficient testing processes.
9. Collaborating with external labs for testing support when necessary.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• PhD, M.Sc., B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical/Biochemistry Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry company.
• Strong hands-on experience with various analytical lab instruments, with a proven track record of accurate and reliable results.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a strong focus on achieving results.
• Excellent communication skills, with a service-oriented approach and the ability to provide clear guidance and support to lab associates.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle unknown situations and adapt to changes.
• Ability to balance a big-picture perspective while also paying close attention to crucial details.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information.
