Vice President of Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Engineering

About the Role: As the Vice President of Engineering, you will oversee the strategy, execution, and growth of our engineering teams. You will work closely with the product management team to define and deliver on the product roadmap, ensuring the development of robust, reliable, and high-performing cloud-based enterprise applications. This role requires a strategic thinker who can inspire teams, execute with precision, and drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development: Build, develop, and inspire a world-class engineering organization, including managers, senior engineers, and technical leads. Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and technical excellence.
• Technical Excellence: Lead the development and delivery of large-scale SaaS applications that are scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade.
• Operational Management: Drive product roadmap execution, set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Sales, and Marketing teams to align on strategy, vision, and goals.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve engineering processes and best practices to increase quality, velocity, and efficiency.
• Communication & Transparency: Provide clear, concise, and transparent communication to leadership and stakeholders on technical vision, progress, and decisions.
• Innovation & Technology Strategy: Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, tools, and technologies, driving innovation and adoption of new technologies within the organization.
• Team Scaling: Build teams from 0 to 100, driving both rapid growth and organizational scaling to support hyper-growth.
• Management of Multiple Teams: Lead, mentor, and manage multiple distributed teams across various domains and time zones.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience leading engineering organizations, with a track record of managing large, distributed teams across multiple geographies.
• Technical Acumen: Hands-on experience with modern engineering stacks, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Building & Scaling Teams: Proven track record of scaling teams from 0 to 100 and building high-performing B2B product organizations.
• Talent Development: Experience attracting, hiring, and growing engineering talent. Passion for mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Collaboration & Influence: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Customer Focus: Track record of delivering products that meet the needs of enterprise customers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

• Strong business acumen with an ability to balance technical needs with business outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear messaging for various stakeholders.
