Senior Mechanical Engineer

A leading technology company in the Sharon area is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the mechanical production process – from design to production planning.
• Development of electronics packaging and electromechanical solutions for ruggedized systems.
• Design of complex assemblies.
• Thermal design.
• Collaboration with electronics engineers and PCB designers.
• Design of testing equipment and associated components.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering – required.
• 6+ years of experience in electronic enclosures – required.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes such as CNC, disassembly, cutting, flange shaping, etc. – required.
• Experience in mechanical design of PCBs and selecting electromechanical raw materials.
• Knowledge and experience with military and aerospace standards such as MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160 – an advantage.
• Background in power supply design – an advantage.
• Experience in thermal and strength analysis – an advantage.
• Understanding of electromechanical components.
