Cyber Security Manager

A global Big Data high-tech company that develops advanced products in the Ad Tech field, including one of the largest video advertising platforms in the U.S. The platform dynamically tailors ads to viewers in real-time using machine learning and LLMs, while handling massive scale challenges.

The company is profitable, collaborates with leading global brands, and continuously strives to remain at the forefront of the industry.

The company is publicly traded on NASDAQ and has 900 employees globally, 200 of whom are based in Israel, with half in the R&D department.

The offices are located in Tel Aviv, close to the train station, and offer a hybrid work model with three days of remote work per week.

Role Overview:

• Part of a team reporting to a Team Lead.
• Serves as the focal point for the Big Data team.
• First security-focused position in Israel, reporting directly to the U.S.-based CISO.
• Responsibilities include:
• Guiding development teams.
• Ensuring infrastructure and vulnerability assessments.
• Performing penetration testing.
• Managing cybersecurity incidents.
• Building and integrating defensive tools.
• Evaluating security packages.
• Reviewing CI/CD processes.
• Conducting API testing.
• Identifying weaknesses.
• Embedding security protocols in the organization with a primary focus on application security.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity in a distributed, Linux based system.
• Strong expertise in advanced incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management in complex, heterogeneous environments.
• Hands-on experience with security automation, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and advanced threat detection platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as ISSEP, CISM, GSOC, SSCP, or GCIH.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and knowledge of cloud security tools.
• In-depth knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike).
• Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure architecture design.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and tools, including IAM, security groups, and encryption in AWS.
