Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper at Aleph Accounting in Israel.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor onboarding (local and international) and payment preparation.

• Conduct ongoing bookkeeping, such as collecting, categorizing, and filing invoices and receipts.

• Ensure accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journal entries, payables, receivables, and fixed assets.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly financial controls.

• Process employee expense and travel reports.

• Prepare trial balances, month-end accruals, and documentation for the monthly closing process.

• Get all materials audit-ready for the annual review.

🌟 Our Ideal Candidate:

• Certified Bookkeeper Type 3 with formal education in bookkeeping.

• 8+ years of experience in bookkeeping, including 2+ years in high-tech companies.

• Experience working with bookkeeping software (ERP) and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Xero, Priority).

• Skilled in bookkeeping for US entities.

• Highly proficient in Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A true team player who loves to collaborate but can also thrive independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership and deliver results.
