Embedded Software Engineer

A high-tech company specializing in the development of 5G cellular IoT chips and AI computing technology, recognized as a global leader in its field.

The role is part of the Core Platform team, focusing on the development of the next generation of Cellular IoT solutions.

The company is based in Hod Hasharon, with a hybrid work model offering two work-from-home days. The company employs around 400 people.

About the role

• Design, develop, and implement core platform features for the company’s flagship IoT products.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Software, QA, Architecture, and Product, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive end-to-end development of features, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop firmware for low-power, multi-radio System-on-Chips (SoCs) optimized for IoT use cases.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of embedded systems, including real-time operating system components and firmware for cellular communication stacks.
• Tackle complex technical challenges with creative, out-of-the-box solutions.

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience in C programming for embedded systems.
• Proven expertise in developing software for multi-threaded operating systems
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture, including memory management and peripheral integration.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
