Data Scientist

OncoHost is a technology company headquartered in Binyamina, Israel, and Cary, North Carolina, transforming the approach to precision medicine for improved patient outcomes. Our proprietary platform, PROphet^®, is a plasma-based proteomic pattern analysis tool whose initial offering in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) uses a single blood sample to guide first-line immunotherapy decision-making.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our R&D team. This position is based in our Binyamina office, and the chosen candidate will report to OncoHost’s VP of R&D.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machine learning models to interpret patient data and predict treatment outcomes.
• Analyze complex multi-omics data, including proteomics, to identify biomarkers predictive of treatment responses.
• Analyze clinical data; work closely with experts in proteomic and immunology to provide actionable insights through advanced statistical analyses and visualizations to support clinical decision-making.
• Document R&D activities in technical reports and publications.

Requirements:

• PhD in a quantitative field (CS, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, engineering etc.). Outstanding candidates holding MSc with extensive experience will be considered.
