Finance Operations Specialist (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Operations Specialist to join our Finance Team for a six-month maternity cover. In this role, you will report to the Controller and oversee daily financial operations, collaborating closely with both the Sales and Payment Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Billing and Collections: Ownership of billing cycles and collection processes.
• Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Oversee AP, including usage analysis and payments.
• Controls: Drive and manage key controls over our global banking network, ensuring data integrity.
• Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) Monitoring and Optimization: Develop, implement, and manage a robust process for monitoring acquisition costs. Collaborate closely with our US Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improve overall efficiency.
• Coordinate with Bookkeeping: Maintain ongoing communication with external bookkeeping functions to ensure accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with Payment Operations: Work closely with the Payment Operations team to ensure accurate execution of daily financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Proactive Ownership: Independent and eager to take initiative.
• Educational Background: BA in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Economics.
• Industry Experience: Familiarity with financial processes and reporting within global high-tech companies.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications (mandatory).
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Personal Qualities: Quick learner, hands-on, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of accounting principles (an advantage).
