Research And Development Manager

A Cybersecurity Start-Up is developing cutting-edge protection for leading databases and ransomware attacks using a unique method invented by the company.

This is the second successful startup by the founders.

The product has already been sold to government organizations in Israel and is currently in pilot stages. It combines advanced storage recovery capabilities with defenses against ransomware and malware.

The role involves managing a team of three developers, with plans to expand to a team of ten. The development focuses primarily on .NET Core and React, with a heavier emphasis on Backend work.

The company is located in the Sharon area near a train line and operates on a hybrid model (about three days from home, with flexibility). In the near future, offices will open in Tel Aviv or Nes Ziona. Currently, the company has about 10 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the full lifecycle of product development: planning, architecture, & implementation.
• Lead the development and QA teams, ensuring product design, development, and production entry.
• Manage UI/UX design planning and delegate development tasks.
• Ensure the upkeep of development labs and their availability.
• Be accountable for customers issues and maintenance, including product updates and bug fixes.
• Directly engage in a hands-on development work alongside the team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a seasoned Full Stack Developer with managerial personality and can-do approach
• Proficient in .Net core and React
• Demonstrated experience in PowerShell
• Knowledgeable in On-prem product development for Windows/Linux applications.
• Deep understanding of Postgres, RabbitMQ, Advanced installer.
• Proven DevOps Pipeline CI/CD and Automation capabilities.
• 5 years of development experience
• 3 years of team management experience
• BSc in Computer Science – an advantage.
• Previous IT and Cyber Security engineering experience
