R&D Manager

Cover is seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Manager to lead our research and development team. In this role, you will oversee the development of cutting-edge products, drive technological advancements, and ensure our R&D strategies align with company objectives.

This is a leadership position requiring a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success.
• Develop and execute the R&D roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales and product to bring projects to market.
• Manage the R&D resources, and timelines effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the R&D process.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to efficiently and effectively achieve R&D objectives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in R&D management, preferably in development for the web.
• Strong technical background with experience in product design and development.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge in NodeJS/React/AWS is an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management related fields is an advantage.
