Application Engineer

In this role you will be part of a fast-paced Applications Engineering Team of the VLSI ASIC design world.

Main responsibilities:

• Uses product knowledge to provide technical expertise and support to customer.
• Provides consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
• Provides trainings in the implementation domain products.
• Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience.
• Good familiar with Fusion Compiler and/or Primetime - Must.
• Deep domain knowledge in P&R and/or signoff and participated in multiple chip tapeouts preferably at 5nm or below nodes.
• An excellent understanding of the RTL2GDS flows and methodologies.
• Design experience should include timing and power closure, ECO flow, and physical design expertise. Knowledge of timing corners/modes, process variations and signal integrity related issues is an advantage.
• Exceptional tcl knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for world-class customer service
• Ability to examine, summarize and generate status updates from technical data.
• Excellent technical communication (oral and written) skills.
• Fluent in English.
