Healthcare Advisor (maternity cover)

Yad L’Olim is seeking a Healthcare Advisor (maternity cover) to join our Absorption team. The Healthcare Advisor will respond enquiries, and provide guidance and support to Olim virtually and through in-person meetings.

The position is part time (25 hours per week), remote, with scheduled regular in-person meetings in major cities.

Responsibilities

Manage healthcare inquiries related to the kupah, bituach leumi benefits, medications, children development centers, mental health, women’s health, surgeries, and more. Healthcare advisors conduct an intake, provide information and explanation, research topics, intervene according to the need of the situation, provide clear instructions for action, and follow-up.

Correspondence with hospitals, kupah secreterias, bituach leumi representatives etc as needed (In Hebrew, both over the phone and via email).

Cross referencing healthcare rights and benefits, ensuring that information being relayed is up to date and accurate.

Assist in filling out bituach leumi applications and kupah forms in order to access specific benefits and services.

Track and log information from the inquiries using a ticketing system to identify trends and to be used for data analysis.

Qualifications

The healthcare advisor would need to have experience within the Israeli healthcare system and excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
