Overview of Position:

We deliver highly customizable, critical communication solutions for remote sites. As a network engineer you will be working with a team of software, systems and network engineers, to develop and deliver next generation communication products over a variety of common and highly specialized communication paths.

We are starting a new team in Israel for one of our new projects, this team will initially work remote until we establish offices in Israel.

A successful candidate will be capable of working independently, actively and confidently promote improvements, and incorporate new technologies, throughout the lifecycle of each product.

What you will do:

• Maintain detailed documentation of SD-WAN configurations, scripts, network policies, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Ensure optimal performance of SD-WAN by configuring QoS policies, bandwidth management, and link aggregation, utilizing Python scripts to gather insights and proactively address issues.

• Use Python scripting to automate SD-WAN tasks, streamline configurations, and enhance network monitoring capabilities.

• Analyze network usage and performance data, using automation to optimize bandwidth usage, reduce latency, and improve connection reliability.

• Regularly update network configuration documentation.

• Work closely with DevOps, software developers, and Data Scientists to implement network changes and troubleshoot connectivity issues within different applications and environments.

What we need from you:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SD-WAN technologies.

• Familiarity with major SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Versa, Cisco Viptela, or similar) and centralized management platforms.

• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and MPLS, with experience in configuring and optimizing SD-WAN routing and traffic policies.

• Proficiency in Python for network automation (e.g., Netmiko, Paramiko, Nornir) and familiarity with scripting for networking tasks and device configuration

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations and procedures to ensure a consistent and secure network environment.

• Knowledge of source version control (e.g., git, bitbucket).

Even better if you have:

• Experience with REST APIs to enable integration of network systems and automate data collection from network devices.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and network configurations in Linux environments.
