Function Integration Engineer

As a Function Integration Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of validating and optimizing advanced algorithms for cutting-edge automotive functions like EBA, LKA, and VACC. This role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and problem-solving to ensure our systems perform flawlessly in real-world conditions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these algorithms seamlessly and act as a technical expert during customer and partner demonstrations. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and efficiency of autonomous driving technologies.

Responsibilities:

As a Function Integration Engineer, part of an international team, you will be responsible for:

• Validating the performance of algorithms used for functions such as EBA, LKA, and VACC.
• Owning the full product test funnel: identifying product gaps, defining requirements for data collection, analyzing results, and planning timely solutions to address gaps.
• Defining and deriving requirements and test scenarios for validating Autobrains' function algorithm systems.
• Participating in real-world field tests of these functions.
• Implementing and automating the tests using Python.
• Creating Python scripts for platform automation for in-car data logging.
• Creating comprehensive product analysis reports, delivering insights that inform strategies and actions.
• Diagnosing and solving technical issues related to our function algorithms.
• Integrating algorithms with existing frameworks in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Serving as a technical representative during customer and partner demos, ensuring a polished and informative experience.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or standout work history.
• Proficiency in Python;
• Linux environment knowledge.
• familiarity with C/C++ (Advantage).
• Knowledge of NCAP (New Car Assessment Program)
• Experience with automotive SoCs and ADAS sensors (Camera, Radar, LiDAR, Ultrasonic)
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in creating analysis reports.
• Strategic mindset for roadmap development and iteration planning.
• Willingness for occasional global travel.
