Senior 2D Animator

Powtoon is seeking a talented senior 2D Animator to join the Creative Department.

We're looking for a talented Senior 2D Animator to join our Art team.

This team is part of Powtoon's creative department and its goal is to constantly improve the way that Powtoon products work and look.

You will be working closely with the art team lead and will be responsible for creating and maintaining all of the animated content on our platform.

The Ideal candidate will be able to work independently and quickly in a highly dynamic environment. You will be expected to initiate tasks, innovate, as well as work closely with R&D to maintain and update our exclusive character creation tool.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality animation loops for dozens of character families, exciting transitions and compelling effects. In line with the team lead's creative vision
• Rig new characters while working closely with the art team lead to produce the most versatile rig
• Work closely with the Dev team to update and manage our Character creation system
• Take part in designing assets when needed
  
  

• At least 5 years of experience as 2D Animator
• Knowledge of traditional animation and the principles of character animation such as posing, timing and acting
• Proficient animating and rigging in Spine
• Proficient in Adobe animate, Illustrator and After Effects
• Good sense of design for animation
• Technically oriented artist
• Strong understanding of scheduling, project management and ability to work under strict deadlines
• Ability to become proficient in our product and to relate to Powtoon's customer base
• Ability to work in a team and to accept instructions for execution
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• A desire to learn and evolve
