Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Evergreen Finance London will play a pivotal role in elevating the company’s technological landscape. As a senior business leader and a member of the Executive Committee, the CTO will be responsible for strategising, developing, and executing technology solutions that align with the company's goals. The role demands a visionary approach, focusing on innovative technology solutions, customer experience, process automation, and technology-driven revenue and risk optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy, including advancements in AI and process automation.
• Lead and manage the entire technological architecture of the company.
• Administer system operations and DevOps practices.
• Uphold and enhance IT security measures.
• Guide the software development roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

Your skills & experience

• Proficient in software architecture, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Ideally proficient in multiple programming languages, including PHP and MySQL/MariaDB for legacy stack maintenance, front-end technologies, and Ubuntu environments.
• Experienced in building, growing, and leading a tech team.
• Starting with a small team (3), with growth in alignment with the business's goals.
• Expected to display a visionary and hands-on leadership style.
• Drive innovation with a strategic focus on process automation, AI-driven customer service, and ML-driven process improvement.
• Responsible for developing a scalable and flexible financial service platform.

Essential

• A strong track record in the technology domain, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the financial services sector.
• Formal education is secondary to a robust skillset and relevant experience.
