Senior Devops Engineer

A leading financial technology company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic DevOps team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions while managing Kubernetes and containerized microservices. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS/Azure cloud-native solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Manage Kubernetes tasks, including design, architecture, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and operate containerized microservice applications utilizing advanced technologies.
• Build and implement observation and monitoring tools, such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to provide infrastructure solutions and support.
• Research and implement DevOps best practices, including automation, provisioning, CI/CD, and infrastructure optimization.
• Work closely with developers and automation engineers to architect scalable, reliable solutions.
  
  

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments (required).
• At least 3 years of experience as an AWS/Azure administrator in a production environment (required).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python (required).
• Software development experience in object-oriented programming (Java/Python/JavaScript) is an advantage.
• Extensive experience with CI systems (Azure DevOps preferred) and Git (required).
• Expertise with at least one IaC language, such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Bicep (required).
• Experience with databases like Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, or Redis.
• Experience managing databases in Kubernetes using operators (advantageous).
• Knowledge of FinOps (advantage).
• Strong operational, systems, and networking knowledge.
• Attention to detail and the ability to solve complex tasks efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent cross-functional communication skills.
