Control Design and Automation Expert

In this customer-facing role, you join a multidisciplinary team in an inspiring work environment based on growth, challenge, and fun. Your clients from various industries build and test advanced systems in a broad range of application areas, including control design, multi-domain system modelling, and algorithm deployment onto embedded and/or autonomous systems.

In collaboration with your local team and your worldwide technical community, you will help customers shape the digital transformation, accelerate their pace of development, guide them towards efficiently using the Simulink product family, and show them how to integrate with IT landscapes and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Partnered with the local field team to analyze customers’ requirements, guide product evaluations, create proof of concepts, and build successful technical sales strategies.
• Creating and delivering product presentations for customer meetings, conference calls, tradeshows, conference papers, seminars, and webinars.
• Developing demonstration programs, application examples, and simulation models.
• Providing customer feedback to MathWorks' software development team to influence the next generation of MathWorks’ solutions.
• Identifying new business areas by conducting market and account research.
• Networking and collaborating with the worldwide MathWorks community.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• High motivation for working directly with customers.
• Professional experience with Control Design - A must.
• Experience with system simulation or applied knowledge of Simulink – A must.
• Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Production Code Generation, Embedded Systems, Digital Twins, Virtual Prototyping, Verification and Validation, and Physical Modelling.
• Working experience in a technical sales environment is a plus.
