Quality Assurance Lead

Somatix is looking for a QA Team Leader to augment and lead our QA team.

Our SAAS system is composed of Backend, Frontend, Mobile Apps and a smart band (HW/FW) over AWS .

We are working with an agile methodology and are using bitbucket and Jira.

This position will be responsible for:

• Lead the QA team of talented engineers
• Join the team in hands-on QA testing of the system and its elements
• Advance the automation abilities in the testing process to full coverage
• Define, introduce and implement QA methodologies (Test Plan, Sanity, etc.)
• Act as Tier 3 team in Customer Support
• Lead the Beta phase with associated stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functions on roadmap and delivery
• Identify and adopt new and advanced tools for QA testing
• Report to the VP R&D

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer
• 1+ years of experience in Automation testing
• Experience with Cloud based systems
• Experience with the HW testing
• Must have experience programming in (Python/Java/.NET)
• Must have experience in a startup environment
• Fluent English - speaking and writing.

Founded in 2015, Somatix is a remote patient monitoring software platform. We analyze in real-time data received from standard wearables for detecting hand gestures (smoking, drinking, medication) and activities (walking, sleeping, falling). Then we fuse together additional data sources and search for actionable insights, to enhance the user’s wellbeing. The insights notify the caretaker staff regarding deterioration in a patients physical or mental condition.

We aim our efforts towards elderly-care, hospital outpatients and addictions-control. Our customers are elderly nursing homes, hospitals, health insurance companies and clinics.
