Game Artist for Gaming Startup (Equity)

We are looking for a talented and passionate Game Artist to design and create engaging visuals for our interactive games. As part of our creative team, you will bring your artistic vision to life, crafting vibrant themes, appealing UI, and interactive animations that captivate players and enhance their gaming experience.

We would like to emphasize that, at this stage, none of us are receiving salaries; compensation is offered solely in the form of equity in the company. Once the company begins generating revenue, we plan to pay competitive salaries. We offer a co-ownership program for suitable candidates.

Our work process will follow industry best practices and utilize cutting-edge technologies. We also encourage diverse opinions and ideas, enabling you to play a major role in decision-making and product architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design captivating themes, graphic assets, and visuals for our games.
• Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, including menus, buttons, and prize displays.
• Develop high-quality 2D/3D assets, such as icons, illustrations, backgrounds, and animations.
• Create animations and visual effects for winning moments, interactions, and gameplay highlights.
• Optimize assets for mobile and web platforms, ensuring high performance without compromising quality.
• Work on numerous game titles from conception to launch, including crafting wireframes, concepts, and production assets (e.g., backgrounds, animations, UI, characters, props, and logos).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Game Artist, preferably in the online lottery or casino industry.
• Strong skills in 2D design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDRAW.
• Experience with animation tools like After Effects, Spine, or Adobe Animate.
• Experience optimizing assets for performance across devices.
• Strong UI/UX design skills, particularly for mobile-first game design.
• A relevant portfolio (please attach a link to your online portfolio).
• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal for asset integration.
• Experience in frontend development (e.g., JavaScript, Phaser.js, PixiJS, Unity) - an advantage.
• Experience in creating fully rendered in-game content optimized for HTML5/Pixi.js and Phaser 3 - an advantage.
