Product Engineer

Nova System Group is seeking a Product Expert to lead system (HW and SW) integration, verification, and validation, working closely with the system leader, HW and SW teams, NPI, and service. The role involves active support throughout the tool development lifecycle, including specification, development, integration, verification, validation, troubleshooting, product release, documentation, and post-release support, with a focus on RFQ/PST (product specification).

What you will be doing:

• Owner of HW platform and SW version integration & qualification
• Owner ITP, ATP, FI and service procedures, familiarity with product’s BOM configurations
• Owner of draft documentation required for hand-over to Engineering and Service groups
• Responsible for field installations of beta tools: roll-in handshake from service, ITP and FI, acceptance handshake to service
• Responsible for pre-FAI tools build: assembly to integration hand-over, ITP and FI
• Responsible for Service train-the-trainer activities and NPI training

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in integration and testing of complex hardware and software systems
• Experience with optics-incorporated systems (advantage)
• Proven hands-on technical skills in system verification, troubleshooting, and fault analysis
• Experience with MATLAB/Python for analysis and testing (advantage)
• Experienced in collaborating across different technical disciplines and teams
• Ability to travel (up to one trip per quarter)
