DevOps Engineer

At Gigaspaces we create a distributed platform that allows our customers to develop and expose their microservices efficiently and fast. We use the latest and most advanced technology stack that can be run on any Cloud / Cloud-Native environment.

We’re looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer, to join our talented R&D group. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a role in ensuring our platform and processes work smoothly and at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Play a part in the company's cloud infrastructure design and implementation
• Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems
• Help automate and streamline our operations and processes
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environment
  
  

• 2-4 years of experience as Devops Engineer - must.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of at least one of Java/JS/Python - more than one is an advantage
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Proficiency in Linux environments - must
• Experience with cloud computing technologies -preferably AWS
• Experience with git and CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins/ Teamcity/ CircleCI / Github actions
• Experience with Docker orchestration and K8s frameworks in production environments
• A good understanding of computer networking fundamentals as well as web services and applications
• Hands-on, can-do approach, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
