Senior DevOps Engineer

We're on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior DevOps with a passion for startups and a genuine interest in GenAI to join our innovative team at Lasso Security.

Founded in 2023 by a team of serial entrepreneurs, we are a group of veteran GenAI and cybersecurity experts, who came together to develop new solutions for organizations that want to embrace progress without compromising on security.

Job Overview:

As a Senior DevOps at Lasso Security, you will take ownership of all aspects of the infrastructure, you’ll be working directly under the CTO, driving innovation and collaborating with the R&D teams. You'll design and manage scalable, high-availability services, build CI/CD workflows and ensure our infrastructure meets top security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain a scalable AWS production infrastructure, including administration of Kubernetes clusters.
• Enhance and support our CI/CD pipelines, working with systems like Docker, GitHub, ArgoCD, etc.
• Write scripts in Bash and/or Python.
• Ensure the reliability of our production environment by implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools like: Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Collaborate with and support cross-functional teams: Engineering, Product, QA, and Data Science.
• Optimize cloud costs by properly managing different environments, ensuring security, and maintaining SOC2 and ISO27011 compliance, while minimizing impact on development speed.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance our development experience and scalability of our production systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps with expertise in managing production infrastructure, working in a Linux environment, and writing scripts in Bash and/or Python.
• Production experience with AWS services (e.g. EKS, S3, EC2, CloudFront, Cognito, etc).
• Experience with CI/CD best practices (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or any other GitOps tool).
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management (Docker images, Helm charts)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and CDN configurations
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or any other).
• Proficiency in developing solutions for complex, high-scale production environment
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.

Big Plus:

• Background in Software Development.
• Knowledge of the Azure cloud platform
• Familiarity with best practices for scaling strategies (KEDA).
