Qualitest is growing and we are looking for our next Experienced Backend Developer to join our team in Tel Aviv!

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new cybersecurity features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and security of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and implement security measures.

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support.

Job requirements

• Experience - 10+ years in backend development or significant experience as a Tech Lead, particularly in the cybersecurity industry
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Strong expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior developers, and manage complex projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
