Position: Senior Software Engineer - .Net Technologies

Workplace: Remote (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Israel and Moldova)

Employment Type: Contract

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in .Net Technologies to join our dynamic team at Infrascale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the architecture and implementation of innovative solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Develop high-quality software solutions, adhering to coding standards, best practices, and SOLID principles.
• System Design: Participate in the design and architecture discussions, providing insights and suggestions for scalable and efficient system design.
• Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the requirements and are delivered within the specified timelines.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported in production environments, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Code Review: Conduct and participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Documentation: Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• NET Technologies: Experience with .NET web development, building REST web services; .NET desktop application, NUnit and Windows Service development. We use a combination of .NET Framework, Core, and Standard. Experience with ASP.NET Web Services, MVC and WCF is a plus.
• DBS Technologies: Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Entity Framework Core. T-SQL is a plus.
• Web Technologies: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and related Microsoft stack technologies.
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git, and experience with branching strategies and pull request workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Agile & DevOps: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Storage: Previous experience working with or implementing storage technologies like Microsoft VSCS, or similar proprietary technologies. Experience with MS Graph API and SharePoint API is a plus.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as especially Google Cloud Platform and Azure, and experience architecting for and deploying applications on these platforms is desirable.
