Director of QA & Automation

We are seeking an experienced QA & Automation Director to lead our automation and quality assurance teams within our Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with our product and company goals. You’ll work closely with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute a long-term vision and strategy for Dream’s QA and automation domains.
• Drive the design and implementation of comprehensive automation solutions from conception to deployment.
• Build and manage the automation and manual QA engineers.
• Maintain and enhance our "Everything as Code" approach using technologies like Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Mentor and develop team leads, ensuring skills and methodologies stay current with industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Engineering, Data Science and Research teams to understand automation needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of our infrastructure through rigorous testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of excellence in communication and teamwork, while managing project priorities and deadlines.
  
  

• 5+ years of proven management experience of automation and QA groups in a tech-focused environment, driving both technical and personal growth within the team.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with object-oriented design.
• knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
• Expertise in Linux-based environments and scripting, including PowerShell.
• Experience with major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
  
  

• Experience with endpoint security products (agents, sensors, collectors).
• Background in AI model training, inference, and serving processes.
