System Engineer

Nexite is a leading startup, revolutionizing retail IoT. We are developing a platform that merges the physical and digital retail spaces. Our innovative platform is based on cutting edge battery-less BLE tags that communicate with a cloud platform through an in-store wireless access network. Using our data and cloud platform, we can provide retailers with previously unattainable insights and analytics and at the same time vastly improve the customer experience.

We are looking for a System Engineer with experience in wireless communication at the system level. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of logic, protocols, and the physical layer. If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary technical activities, including hardware design, embedded software development, and cloud integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure alignment across all development phases
• Design and evaluate wireless indoor propagation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Write clear, detailed specifications and technical documentation to guide the development process
• Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from concept definition to productization
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards
  
  

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant engineering role
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in hardware design, embedded systems, and cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of wireless indoor propagation principles and RF systems
• Familiarity with radar technologies is a significant advantage
• Excellent skills in writing specifications and technical documentation
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
