Technical Product Writer

We're looking for a Technical Product Writer to join our Product Marketing team. The individual will be responsible for understanding and translating the functions of our products into business and customer value, and creating and maintaining documentation of our products and system. The individual will work cross-departmentally with product managers, researchers, account managers, and developers, and should have a deep understanding of the client's pain points, needs, and operational use cases, in order to clearly communicate the solution's benefits. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, wordsmith, and curious about technology and its applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the product, its features, and value are clearly communicated to clients
• Communicate new product and feature launches to clients new products, and prepare relevant content
• End-to-end responsibility for product related documents (release notes, user guides, brochures, solution descriptions, presentations, FAQs, etc.),
• Write and edit microcopy for all product features
• Work directly with Product Managers and R&D team members to understand the product functionality and the information that needs to be provided to customers and end-users
• Develop product messaging that differentiates the product from others in the market
• Research client use cases of current and future products
  
  

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Marketing/Technical Writer or in a similar position
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly
• Willingness to go through a Security Clearance process (Level 2 required)
• Native English speaker with strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and own tasks from end-to-end
• Detail-oriented, highly meticulous, and perceptive
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for different departments and according to version release schedules
• Creative thinker
• Excellent people and communication skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  
  

• Intelligence/cybersecurity product marketing/technical writing experience
• Experience with B2G clients
• Experience in UI writing
• Active Level 2 Security Clearance - Strong advantage
