Board Design Engineer

Job description:

The Board Design engineer will be conducting research and development of new sensors and acquisition methods, focusing on deployment and delivery of new board designs to production, Including PCB designs schematics and layout of high speed and analog signals, Design review process and timeline management. This role requires a unique blend of board design expertise, strong theoretical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

PCB design:

• Lead the development of circuit boards, integrating theoretical modeling, design, and component selection.
• Proficient use of PCB design process in Altium (EasyEDA is a plus).
• Knowledge in SMPS and power electronics design.
• Knowledge in analog signal integrity principles.
• Knowledge in impedance matched board design.
  
  

• Ensure transparency throughout the design stages, from Kickoff to Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
• Explore new fields and technologies based on expert consultations.
  
  

• Accurately estimate project scope, defining key tasks and milestones.
• Adherence to schedules within the SCRUM sprint framework.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering- a must.
• Proven track record in the complete cycle of circuit board development- a must.
• Familiarity with embedded systems (NXP1060, FPGA, RP2350, ESP32). - a must
• A team-oriented individual with a proactive mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinker with a theory-driven approach to problem-solving.
