We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic real estate development company based in Israel. The company focuses on urban renewal projects in Israel, and you will play a crucial role in managing the financial department and overseeing the company's financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the CFO, providing accurate and timely financial information
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring deadlines are met
Manage financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and filed
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring clear and accurate reporting
Supervise payroll processing and ensure accurate bookkeeping
Collaborate with auditors and consultants for tax compliance and audits
Suggest improvements to accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
Manage cash flow and monitor transactions to maintain financial health
Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights
Participate in due diligence for new real estate projects with the CEO
Assist in preparing budget reports and forecasts

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related field
Qualified Israeli CPA
Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification (Level 3 preferred)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 training and at least 2 years in a large company, preferably in the financial or real estate sector
Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong decision-making and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
