Objectives And Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.

Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Utilize SQL databases to store, manipulate, and retrieve data efficiently.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Implement security and data protection measures.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and monitor services on AWS.

Maintain version control using GitHub, ensuring proper branching and merging strategies.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualification

At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles, with a focus on backend development at scale

.Proficient in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript

.Experience with AWS services and architecture

.Strong knowledge of SQL databases and data modeling

.Proven experience in building and consuming APIs

.Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration

.Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment

.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively

.Excellent communication and teamwork skills

.Advantage: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
