Relocation to Sydney- Technical VP Product and Strategy

We are seeking a highly technical and visionary VP of Product and Strategy who will be relocated to Sydney to lead our product strategy and drive the development of a leading cloud native optimization product. This position demands someone with startup experience, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.

What you will be doing:

• Product Vision & Roadmap: Shape and lead the product vision and strategy for Glasswing, establishing the business model and marketing messages, creating the roadmap, overseeing execution to release, and driving adoption and engagement of the delivered value.
• Product Development: Lead product development from concept to launch, working closely with engineering teams for timely, high-quality execution, while collaborating with UX designers to create an intuitive, user-friendly product aligned with customer needs for a seamless user experience.
• Define features and backlog: Define features and manage the backlog, collaborating with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing teams to align on trade-offs and ensure successful delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical background to lead product discussions, prioritize feature development, and guide the team in solving complex infrastructure and DevOps challenges.
• Market & Customer Insights: Stay on top of industry trends and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements and innovation.
• Partner Relationships: Gather, define, and prioritize product requirements through market research and customer feedback. Collaborate closely with customers to build trust, guiding the product roadmap and enhancing the overall user experience.
• Strategic Planning: Drive long-term strategic initiatives that align with market trends, company goals, and competitive dynamics

What you bring along:

• Strong technical background, with expertise in cloud computing, DevOps / Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in building and scaling products from ideation to execution in fast-growing startup environments, with strong attention to detail and project management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of the market dynamics and the competitive landscape within the cloud and DevOps sector.
