About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Platform & Infrastructure Group Lead to drive the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our cloud-based platforms and shared infrastructure. Reporting to the CTO, you will lead a dynamic team in building scalable tools, reusable components, and robust systems that empower our development teams. This role is critical in ensuring our infrastructure supports rapid delivery, operational excellence, and the company’s future growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers and platform developers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS) for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization using tools like Terraform.
• Build and maintain shared services and self-service tools to enhance development efficiency and standardization.
• Implement robust observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and analytics tools, ensuring operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product teams to align platform solutions with business goals while managing infrastructure security.
• Own and manage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), including compute, storage, networking, and serverless services.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and cost optimization through automation and monitoring.
• Design, build, and maintain shared reusable services that provide common functionality across teams.
• Manage cloud security configurations, including IAM policies, VPNs, and basic network security settings, ensuring secure access to infrastructure resources.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and scaling cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in AWS services and DevOps practices.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
• A passion for enabling developers with efficient systems and tools that drive innovation and operational reliability.
• Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SQL Server), including performance optimization, scalability, and backup strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
