R&D Manager

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel

A leading and well-established company, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, is looking for a highly motivated and talented R&D Manager to lead its capital market solutions development team.

Our cutting-edge capital market product line powers data infrastructures for leading banking and institutional investor firms. The platform also provides data analytics applications for web, mobile, and desktop, driving innovation in the FinTech, InvestTech, LegalTech, and BusinessTech industries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor backend and frontend teams of full-stack developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Actively participate in requirements analysis, coding, architecture design, and code reviews, ensuring quality and performance standards.
• Monitor the day-to-day activities of development teams, ensuring smooth operations.
• Manage the development, testing, and deployment of applications and systems at scale.
• Maintain excellent SDLC practices, including unit tests, integration tests, and code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application stability and reliability in production.
• Drive innovation and define the technological strategy for the team.
• Take full responsibility for planning, reviewing, and executing architectural changes in distributed core products.
• Oversee sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and technical designs.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in a software development role.
• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, TCP/IP (Sockets), near real-time data streams, RESTful APIs, MSSQL, and Windows Services.
• Proven experience in architecting complex near real-time data streams.
• Experience writing testable code, including unit testing.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Lean product development methodologies.
• Experience in CI/CD automation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in client-side application development and web technologies.
• Familiarity with PHP, Linux, and NoSQL technologies.
