Capital Markets legal counsel

We are recruiting for a leading financial organization seeking an legal counsel for its Capital Markets team.

The team is responsible for providing ongoing legal advice and support in the capital markets field to various organizational units. The role includes activities related to Israeli and foreign securities, trading rooms and transactions, derivatives operations (local and international), support for the organization's interfaces with foreign financial institutions, assistance to the Investment Advisory Division, and more.

Responsibilities

• Providing legal counsel and support in capital markets matters.
• Supporting international OTC derivatives activities (ISDA).
• Drafting legal agreements and negotiating with leading international financial institutions.
• The role requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in capital markets, proficiency in drafting financial contracts, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a willingness to learn and work independently.
• Availability for working hours aligned with international markets is required, if necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Israel.
• Full proficiency in legal English (negotiation in writing and orally regarding agreements in English, reading/comprehension/analysis of legal materials in English, etc.) – mandatory.
• Proven experience of 4-7 years in drafting complex contracts and conducting negotiations in English.
• Specialization or deep knowledge in capital markets.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex financial transactions.
