Global Procurement Manager

The Global Procurement Manager will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives for end-to-end products production, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in supplier engagement, risk mitigation, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor supply chain, especially in fabless production models, and a proven track record in securing and managing vendor contracts that align with the company’s quality and efficiency goals.

What will your job look like?

• Manage buyers and direct procurement personnel and managers.
• Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on cost reduction, supply security, and quality improvement.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and best practices, using insights to optimize sourcing strategies.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including supply shortages, lead time variability, and quality issues.
• Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers to support the company’s end-to-end chips, systems and production needs.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and lead supplier audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and supply chain to align on production schedules, inventory levels, and project timelines.
• Work with finance to set and achieve budget goals for procurement, providing regular updates on budget status and cost-performance metrics.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate supplier performance and procurement effectiveness and provide reports on procurement activities.
  
  

• Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement realm, specifically within the semiconductor industry, and extensive experience in leading and managing teams and managers.
• In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, particularly in fabless environments.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in contract management and supplier negotiation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex supply chain issues and develop effective solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
• High level of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
