Dor Motors, is developing cutting-edge technology to enhance Diesel engine efficiency and reduce emissions through the use of alternative fuels. We are seeking a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Specialist to design and implement a self-adaptive learning system.

• Job Location: Atlit, Israel – conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station.
• Employment Type: Full-time / part time, hybrid format (up to two days a week working from home).
• Compensation: Competitive salary and excellent conditions for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop models to analyze and interpret data from physical sensors (e.g., pressure, temperature).

Build adaptive algorithms to optimize system performance, including hyperparameter tuning.

Apply signal processing techniques to improve data quality and insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into the final product.

Conduct big data analysis to identify trends and inform decision-making processes.

Develop methodologies and foster innovation within the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing machine learning algorithms / adaptive systems.
• Experience with building / managing databases for large-scale sensor data collection.
• Strong familiarity with handling and analyzing time series data from physical sensors.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Hands-on experience in implementing real-time machine learning models.
• Experience with text-based controllers is an advantage.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to management.
