We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Cyber Consultant to join a prominent international law firm. This law firm, known for its innovative approach, operates in over 30 countries and has established itself as a leader in integrating cutting-edge technology and talent to create transformative solutions. As part of a newly formed team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of new technologies and processes across the firm. Key Responsibilities of the Cyber Consultant

• Consulting on a wide range of investigative projects for law firms and various clients, including leveraging expertise in digital forensics, eDiscovery, cryptocurrency investigations, and data analysis to provide comprehensive solutions.
• Utilize state-of-the-art evidence investigation tools and techniques to gather, process, analyze, and present data in meaningful ways.
• Work closely with the firm's information systems team to integrate investigative tools into existing systems, ensuring a seamless workflow and data management process.
• Help shape the way the firm approaches data-driven investigations, from identifying key information to supporting complex case resolutions.
• Influence the strategic direction of the firm’s use of data investigation tools, working across multiple projects and collaborating with different departments.
• Contribute to maintaining the firm’s competitive edge in the field of legal technology.

Required Skills of the Cyber Consultant

• A strong background in cryptocurrency and blockchain investigations, with a deep understanding of how these technologies impact legal investigations.
• Experience of up to three years in relevant fields such as network and infrastructure management, eDiscovery, data analysis, information systems, or digital forensics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and VBA.
• Experience in writing scripts and performing data analysis, as well as creating and executing queries to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, is also highly desirable.
• A first degree or higher in a relevant field, such as information systems, data investigation, or computer science, is required.
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, especially in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, are essential for this role.
• Experience with crypto investigation tools such as Chainalysis or TRM is highly preferred, as this will be central to many of the cases you will support.
• The role also requires flexibility, as you may need to work beyond regular office hours to meet client needs or project deadlines.
