DELI VINO is a unique initiative by wine experts, combining a wine store, a gourmet delicatessen, and a neighborhood bar. We Import different types of alcohol by ourselves and offer not only a wide selection of high-quality wines and spirits, but new customer experiences and best practices. 

Role Description

First things first: you will provide exceptional customer service (it’s our brand superpower). Using strong communication and diplomatic skills, you will offer personalized wine solutions to customers of all backgrounds and cultures. Name it sommelier, wine advisor, or ambassador — you are going to become one of the important reasons for our clients to return again and again. 

You must have a deep love for wine and determination to develop your knowledge. The wine world is infinite, and we’re lucky to provide you with great experts to learn from. Do great, sell smoothly, enjoy the process, learn more, and dive deep — there’s an ocean of opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Help guests to find the best wine/spirit options, based on their mood, preferences, and budget.
• Offer wine advice on pairings with food.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
• Maintain knowledge of the store's wine inventory.
• Assist in merchandising and attractive display of wine products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new wine releases.

Qualifications

• Experience in wine sales and customer service
• Knowledge and passion for wine education
• Sommelier certification or relevant wine expertise is a big advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Hebrew. Additional languages are a huge plus
