In this role you’ll be part of an innovative team that creates the next generation of Intuit’s payment mechanism, helping small business to get paid faster.

What you'll bring

• You need to be self-motivated, proactive and a contributor of code
• Be able to read any code in an existing codebase and change it
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships / alignment with partners across the business, such as Product Management, UX, and customers
• Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility
• Communicates clearly and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers and management
• Mentor Junior and Mid-level Software Engineers in code reviews and technical sessions
• Drive and initiate proactive efforts to improve internal processes and existing codebase
  
  

• 6 years of hands-on experience developing in Java and modern frameworks
• Strong hands-on proven experience in large-scale SW architecture and design in cloud distributed
• Solid development fundamentals and good Backend architectural understanding
• Experience in solving high scale problems in production environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud and devops technologies: K8S, CI/CD, AWS
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-obseesed mindset, maturity to prioritize customer pains and understand the user journey in a complex cross-dependent system.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving
• Ability to adapt to different tech stack and tech stacks and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and to multi-task
• Experience working with cross-functional teams while maintaining effective working relationships
• Strong “can-do” approach, creativity and learning mindset. Ability to meet deadlines and think strategically
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  
  

• Successful delivery of high-quality software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
• Develop well-architected, elegant software solutions with a passion for excellence
• Production support involved with monitoring systems and remediating issues
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams, partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
