Fully Funded Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Positions in Human-Building Interaction (HBI)

We are excited to announce two fully funded opportunities for a Ph.D. Candidate and a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our fast-growing, international research team. 

Research projects

Candidates can contribute to the following projects or propose related ones:

• Human-Building Interaction (HBI) Interfaces to inform real-time architectural adaptation.
• Multi-agent simulation of human behavior in built environments to improve well-being.
• Mixed reality for designing interactions across physical and virtual realms.
• Optimization of building design and operations in mission-critical facilities using reinforcement learning

Responsibilities

• Carry through an independent research project under supervision
• Participate in a dynamic, active, and vibrant research environment
• Collaborate with leading experts from academia and the industry
• Write scientific papers aimed at high-impact journals and conferences

Skills/Qualifications

• Academic degrees in Architecture, Design, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines from leading institutions
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Coding proficiency (C#, Python) (preferred)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (full proficiency in English)
• Proven track record of scientific writing (peer-reviewed publications required for Postdoctoral applicants).
